Cameron BrownellCameron Brownell, a native Vermonter from Colchester, graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Potsdam, The Crane School of Music with degrees in Music Education and Voice Performance and earned a master's degree in Sacred Music from the University of Notre Dame where he was awarded the Sacred Music Program's Academic Achievement Award. Cameron has been the Chorus Teacher at CVU since 2020 where he directs the school’s choral ensembles, acts as Vocal Music Director for the CVU Drama Program, co-teaches Musical Theatre with Robin Fawcett, and teaches music theory electives, like Songwriting. In addition to his role at CVU, Cameron is the Music Director at Charlotte Congregational Church and is the Assistant Conductor of Solaris Vocal Ensemble. Elisa Van DuyneElisa has appeared on Broadway in 42nd Street, Beauty and the Beast, 110 in the Shade, and Finian’s Rainbow. Regional credits: Ragtime (The Kennedy Center), Sound of Music (Fulton Opera House), Kiss Me Kate (Paper Mill Playhouse). National & European tours: White Christmas, Dr. Dolittle, Phantom of the Opera. Favorite roles: Betty Blake in Will Rogers Follies and Velma in Chicago. TV credits: Person Of Interest, As the World Turns, The Late Show With David Letterman, Good Morning America, The 2001 TONY Awards, and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She is currently the director/choreographer for Spotlight Theatre Academy, and teaches theatre and dance at the Flynn Center for Performing Arts. She served on faculty at American Music and Dramatic Academy in NYC and Paper Mill Playhouse in NJ among other places. Her work as a professional choreographer includes Fun Home and Company at Middlebury College, Oklahoma! at Seton Hall University, The Who’s Tommy, Guys and Dolls, and Big River at Alpine Theatre Project, and Thoroughly Modern Millie at Ocean County Professional Theater. Ken HypesKen moved to Vermont in 2016 after 25 years in New York City. While there, He also worked at 59E59 Theaters as a production manager, Asia Society Museum as a technical director, Signature Theatre as an audiovisual supervisor. Ken also worked as a touring sound engineer and events technical director. He toured with many acts and shows over the years in music, dance, and theatre. Gary LambertGary Lambert has been a cinephile all his life. He has taught production at Champlain College, Burlington College, and The University of Vermont, where he also worked as a Producer and Director at the Video Studio. He was the instructor for the Electronic Recording Arts program at Burlington Technical Center, and is currently the Media Production Integrationist at Champlain Valley Union High School. Gary also served as Associate Producer of the locally produced show Late Night with Tim Kavanaugh that aired on the local CBS affiliate and was the Board President of RETN and The Media Factory. Andrew MiskavageAndrew Miskavage has been teaching at CVUHS since 1989. With degrees in Music Education and Wind Ensemble Conducting, he has an extensive teaching and conducting background. In addition to being active in the music education community, he is an active performer on clarinet and saxophone in concert bands, jazz ensembles, pit orchestras, and chamber groups.
