We are thrilled to announce our Spring One Acts for 2024.  Our team of senior directors will be presenting three totally different short One Acts. 

Alice by Lindsay Price presents a whimsical new take on the old story. Directed by Veronica Miskavage, Julia Shrier & Nisha Hickok.

Antigone Now by Melissa Cooper, based on the Greek tragedy by Sophocles, this poignant drama is about a young woman grappling with her war-torn homeland. Directed by Xander Olszewski.

Black Comedy by Peter Shaffer is a delightful farce with mistaken identities, antics and hidden truths that come to light in the dark. Directed by Frankie Fidler & Addie Nevitt

Important Dates

AUDITIONS FOR SPRING ONE ACTS:  

• February 6 - 8th 3:30 - 5:30pm
  • ​Tuesday 2/6: Alice Auditions 
    
    • 3:30 Arrive at the theater, have your audition form and participation form filled out and ready to hand in. Olivia or Eva will be check you in at a table in the hallway outside
    • 3:45: Scene group assigned and review time
      
    • 4:00-4:45: Scene read through
      
    • 4:45: Break
      
    • 5:00-5:30: Second scene read through
      
    • 5:30: Done for the day
      
  • Wednesday 2/7: Black Comedy and Antigone Now Auditions
    
    • 3:30: Arrive at theater; check in at table and hand in forms if not already turned in
      
    • 3:45-4:30: Groups for scenes for Black Comedy assigned and then read through
      
    • 4:30: Break
      
    • 4:35: Groups for scenes for Antigone Now assigned and read through
      
    • 5:30: Done for the day
      
  • ​Thursday 2/8: Black Comedy and Antigone Now Pt 2
    
    • 3:30: Arrive at theater; check in at table 
      
    • 3:45-4:30: Groups for Antigone Now second read assigned and read through
      
    • 4:30 - Break
      
    • 4:35 - Groups for Black Comedy second read assigned and read through
      
    • 5:30: Done!
      
  • Friday Feb 9th Callbacks 3:30 - 6:30pm.  

REHEARSAL & TECH DAYS: February 12 - April 11th. 

• Rehearsals M, W, F 3:30 - 5:30pm
• Tech Days T & TH 3:30 - 5:30pm
• 3 Saturdays: 3/9, 3/23, 4/6  9 - 5pm. 

SPRING ONE ACTS PERFORMANCES:

• Friday April 12 @ 7:30 pm
• Saturday, April 13th @ 2 pm
• Sunday April 14th  @ 1pm.
